Urgent only (952) 500-0323

7am–7pm, closed holidays

Mason's Rolling Garage LLC

The shop comes to your driveway.

Diagnostics, brakes, batteries, no-starts. The check engine light is a $60 visit: I read it where the car sits and tell you the cause, not just the code. I do every job myself. My truck is already loaded with my tools, so the work happens on the spot. You get a written estimate before any wrench turns. If it needs a lift, I say so and stop. Parts I install carry a 3-month warranty. You still pay for the labor.

02 — Work

What I do where the car already is.

Labor is $60 an hour, and shop supplies are $25. A job that needs parts adds a $30 parts pickup fee. The estimate uses standard book time for a common car, the kind of hours Mitchell 1, ALLDATA, and MOTOR publish. A check-engine diagnosis is $60. A pre-purchase inspection is $90. A tire rotation is $25. Other repair prices stay open until you choose the parts. You approve the number before any wrench turns. Pick a job to drop it into the request.

03 — A visit

Three steps. Then a yes or a no.

  1. 01

Tell me the car and the symptom.

Year, make, model, and where it’s sitting. “Clicks, won’t crank” is more useful than “it won’t go.”

  2. 02

    Pick an open day.

Not today, and not on a holiday. Book at least 24 hours ahead, up to a month out, 7am to 7pm. Canceling less than 48 hours before the visit is $50, less than 24 hours is $100, and less than 12 hours is $150. Only call if you need the car looked at urgently.

  3. 03

    Estimate before the wrench.

Labor is $60 an hour, plus $25 for shop supplies. A job that needs parts adds a $30 parts pickup fee, half an hour so I can go get them. Parts are priced after you pick them. Approve that number, or I pack up. 3-month warranty on parts only. You still have to pay for the labor.

04 — Area

Based in Lakeville.

I cover the south metro, about 25 miles from Lakeville. I’ll drive farther if the job is worth it. Only call if you need the car looked at urgently. I am not a tow company.

05 — Book

Tell me where the car is.

Have the year, make, and model, a sentence on the symptom, and a spot I can legally work. My truck is already loaded with my tools, so I can do the job on the spot.

Questions & Answers

Why isn’t there a price on the list?

Labor is $60 an hour, and shop supplies are $25. A job that needs parts adds a $30 parts pickup fee. A check-engine diagnosis is $60. A pre-purchase inspection is $90. A tire rotation is $25. A jump start, a lockout, or a spare-tire change is $60. The trip fee is $40. Other repair prices stay open until you choose the parts — economy, OEM, or something in between — and you approve that number before I start.

Do you work on European and diesel cars?

Yes. Parts take longer, and I won’t open a job I can’t finish the same visit unless you agree to a return trip.

What if it needs a lift?

I stop. Alignments, transmission removals, and some exhaust work are not driveway jobs. You still get the diagnosis.

Can you come to an apartment or a street?

Yes. A driveway, a visitor spot, or the side of the road. Roadside is a jump, a lockout, a spare, fuel, or a battery, and that fix is temporary. I carry cones. I don’t work in a fire lane or a garage I can’t ventilate.

How do you get paid?

Card, or cash in exact change. I don’t give change back. Paid on site. The estimate is the ceiling unless you approve more work in writing.

Is there a warranty?

3-month warranty on parts only. You still have to pay for the labor. That’s how long the parts stores warranty the parts.

What if I cancel?

More than 48 hours before the visit, there is no fee. Less than 48 hours is $50. Less than 24 hours is $100. Less than 12 hours is $150.

Are you a tow company?

No. If it won’t roll and I can’t fix it where it sits, I’ll say so quickly so you can call a tow.

If it can be fixed without a lift, I can do it where it sits.
